I'm feeling pretty excited about the upcoming release of The Hunger Games movie. I loved the books, and so far I've been enjoying the trailers. I know it'll make a great movie, but then I remember I felt this way about another one of my favorite books: Eragon. That movie was an absolute disaster, despite it being based on an amazing book, and having one of my favorite actors. To me, it wasn't just a horrible adaptation of the book, it wasn't even passable as a movie. As excited as I am for The Hunger Games, I'm also pretty nervous. They could do great things with the movie, but they could also ruin it. So I'm wondering, how does everyone else feel about book to movie adaptations?

I really love the books as you know! And the movie did a great job. Their Katniss was perfect and I was impressed but her acting abilities. The movie was well cast and the script well done. It wasn't perfect but no adaptation is, it's definitely worth seeing if you love the books!
